ImproBox is Shareware.
You can use the fully featured Improbox Premium for a limited time. For continued use please refer to the registration section below.
ImproBox generates a licence file on first start which can be deleted only by the uninstall function of ImproBox.
Press "Stop" to uninstall ImproBox while the shareware message is shown.

ImproBox shows both Now and Next programs. If more EPG data is available, you can view all future programs for the selected channel.

The extended information can be viewed for all programs of the selected channel. The availablity of extended information is indicated by ImproBox with a green 'i' LED (above).

The extended information box size can be adjusted by the user, however it will never use more space than what is required.

No matter what time of day or night it is, Improbox can display the Primetime program by a simple press of the green 'bookmark' key on the RCU (subject to EPG data availablity).

To locate a replay or another episode of the program currently being show, just press the white key on the RCU (while ImproBox is shown) and ImproBox will look for it on the select channel (again subject to EPG data availablity).

LEDs in front of the current program indicate, if the program is being recorded, and if it fits completely in the recording.
R, Rr, Rt, or P in front of the Next program indicate, if the program will be recorded by a timer event or if it is marked for viewing.

The ImproBox Recordings page displays what programs are currenly being recorded. Other information displayed includes the channel, time slot, and running time.

ImproBox is able to create timer events with a few minutes reserve at the beginning and at the end of the scheduled air-time of the program.

If you start a spontaneous recording that happens to conflict with a timer event, ImproBox warns you so you can solve the conflict. Thus preventing you from the loss of a recorded program.

When a recording starts or ends, ImproBox can inform you. This is another of ImproBox's user configurable options.

During playback of a recorded program, the ImproBox Play page displays the title of the program along with a progressbar, elapsed time, and remaining program time.

The Improbox MP3 page displays the same information during playback of an MP3 file.

ImproBox Premium comes with FastJump. A function for playback of recorded programs. Fast Jump lets you skip large sections of a program in an easy to use manner. You can use it to skip commercial breaks, or let AutoJump skip through a recorded program to find the interessing parts fast. FastJump cannot be used with MP3 files, Timesliping, or when viewing a currently running recordding.

If you often fall asleep in front of the tv, or need an audible alarm, ImproBox provides an easy to set Alarm clock - it only works while the Topfield is running, it doesn't function in Stand-By mode.

ImproBox provides you with and easy to access view of additional channel information, including signal strength/quality, satellite name, and channel frequency.

The ImproBox Signal page shows both signal strength and signal quality in easy to read bar graphs and percentages. The bar graph colour varies according to the level.

The ImproBox Harddisk page displays the remaining disk space and calculates the remaining time available for recording programs. And when you are running low on diskspace, ImproBox will warn you. Both of these functions can be adjusted through the ImproBox Options menu.

Additional to all the above features, you can use ImproBox to jump to the beginning of a running recording. This can be done by a user configurable key, by playing the running recording from the filelist, and if you 'zap' to a channel where a recording is currently underway.

ImproBox provides more than 50 user configurable options allowing you to personalise it just the way you like.

...and because everyone likes colors, ImproBox provides you with a choice of four. Blue, Green, Red, and Black.
